Meet The Founder
Dirk Jan Osinga, with over 30 years of marine expertise, founded OOS89 Marine Consultancy in 2021. He spent 18 years as a Senior Salvage Master, leading high-profile salvage and wreck removal operations, and six years as Director of Salvage Consulting at AqualisBraemar LOC Group.
As a Special Casualty Representative (SCR), Dirk advises P&I Clubs, lawyers, and insurers on complex marine matters. OOS89 delivers expert consultancy for shipowners and salvors, ensuring precision in salvage, wreck removal, and emergency response worldwide.
